We have a series of structured programmes designed to introduce you to the sport of clay target shooting.

We recommend that you follow our 3 stage approach below.

Have-a-go

These taster sessions, at present only available at Lakenheath, are designed for the 1st time shooter and include:

• safety instructions
• eye dominance check
• gun loan
• cartridges & clays
• ear & eye protection

Individual/small group coaching

In these sessions, available at Lakenheath and Country Pursuits Cambridge, we will develop and expand your basic knowledge, including:

• re-enforcing the principals of 'The Method'
• building your 'mental library' of shots with variations of the four main target types
• introduce you to 'Special' targets - rabbits, minis battues etc.
  

Now you will be ready to embark on your journey ....

Into the unknown!

A new idea where we explore the mysteries of different clay target disciplines:

• Sporting
• DTL
• Skeet
• Sportrap

by visiting their respective layouts

An ideal way to conclude your introduction to Clay Target Shooting.

Costs

Have-a-go

£40 per person including clays and cartridges.

Family discounts are available.

Individual sessions

£40 per hour + cartridges and clays @ £12 for 25 of each.

Small Group

For people who have booked as a group (3-4 persons), each person pays £35 which includes 25 cartridges and clays. Additional cartridges and clays charged at £12 for 25 of each.

Preferred maximum number in a group is 4 (but may be negotiable), this lessens the waiting time and is also ideal for families, i.e. mum, dad and children/grandparents.
